“The greatest things in life consists of small things; the big is in the small, the giant is in the child.” – Veradine
Men are consciously or unconscious controlled by big results and forget the fact that every big accomplishment had a small beginning.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step – Chinese Proverb
It is hence the little steps that make up the thousand miles.
Little things are the life of great things; the little consistent breath we take in, keeps us alive!
Little drops of water can make a pond, little grasses make the birds nest, little blocks builds a mighty house, fleeting seconds make a minutes, minutes hours, hours days, days weeks, weeks months, and months years.
To succeed in life, you must seize little opportunities because he who waits for the big day will be too small for it.
To harness the power in little things, you must discover the secret therein;
The secret in the power of little things is CONSISTENCY.
Consistency guarantees completion. Consistent efforts however small will produce great results.
Consistent practice and training makes stars and champions.
Don’t be afraid to start small, but watch out for the trap of inconsistency.
If you would reach great heights and achieve great feats, you must necessarily start from where you are with what you have regardless of how small it may be and daily ensure consistency.
To split a rock, you hit consistently at a point until viola! the rock is split…. Yeah, its that simple!
I know you have great dreams and you wish you had greater strength, means, time, people, resources etc so as to achieve your dreams but you need not any thing big to achieve them, all you need do is break your big dream into small achievable bits and like a bird, little by little, build your nest.
That’s why your life is given to you in days and years, so that you can achieve your dreams by the day.
Take the small steps, they make the thousand mile, only ensure that you are constantly moving; whether flying, running, jogging, walking or crawling just ensure you are moving.
See you at the peak!
